The 2018 one ounce silver Dragon Rectangular Coin. Is this a coin or a bar? By all definition, this Dragon is a coin - it has a face value of $1 (AUD) backed by the Australian government; all are identical - they do not have individual serial numbers and it features Ian Rank-Broadley's portrait of Queen Elizabeth II on the obverse. It is a coin, but you would be forgiven for calling it a bar, due to its unusual shape.
The rectangular coin containing 1oz of fine silver (.9999) is produced by Perth Mint, who are well known for producing quality bullion items. The coin is limited to a production of 500,000 units and as such will be an unusual piece for investors and collectors. Single bars are available (whilst stocks last); units of 20 will be in tubes.
Orders to Ireland will be sent via Colissimo (DPD/An Post) with an optional upgrade to FedEx. Parcels are dispatched from within the EU.
Delivery is free for orders over €500, and all parcels are fully insured until confirmed as delivered by the courier.
