Royal Mint
The Royal Mint has been operating in Britain since 1817. Initially based in London at the Tower Mint, the company has relocated twice: first to Tower Hill and again in the 1970s to Llantrisant in South Wales.
The Gold Sovereign has been a core bullion coin during this period, having been produced since the very beginning, but the Britannia coins are also world-renowned fine quality bullion coins, and with new exciting variants on the Britannia - such as the Two Dragons and the Royal Arms coins - the Royal Mint are steadily expanding their bullion range to the global audience.
