The Perth Mint Lunar Series (I, II & III) is based upon the 12 Year Chinese Lunar Calendar, dating back to 2600BC. These 10oz gold Lunar coins are an unusual production, much bigger than typically seen from most mints. The size of the coin makes this more suited to collectors, but investors would see a reduced premium from the larger amount of gold.
