The 2027 1/2oz Gold Britannia is produced by The Royal Mint and struck in 999.9 fine gold. 2027 marks the 40th anniversary of the introduction of the Britannia gold coin, and to celebrate, the coin has a ""40"" wave privy mark, along with a textured background showcasing the anniversary number. Its classic Britannia reverse presents an enduring icon and symbol of Britain, as well as 40th anniversary design additions. Advanced security features are incorporated into the design, making the Britannia one of the most secure bullion coins in the world.

This 1/2oz Britannia coin comes presented in a special oak gift box with a black velvet lining, making it an excellent choice for marking a special occasion.
