The 2025 1/4oz Britannia coin contains advanced security features such as a holographic trident/padlock, microscopic Latin text, and a wave effect in the coin's background making it one of the most secure coins in the world. It contains 7.775 grams of fine gold and has a face value of £25.

The coin is struck from pure gold and features the iconic Britannia image, her trident in hand, standing confidently on the shoreline. The obverse of the coin showcases the profile of King Charles III by Martin Jennings.
