2017 Proof Quarter Sovereign featuring the 5th portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by Jody Clark. Celebrating the 200th anniversary of the modern British Sovereign, the design on the reverse is similar to that of the one used on the 1817 Sovereign.

Proof coins are struck at least twice to ensure a far greater level of detail over their bullion counterparts.
