Description

The Royal Mint 2020 Lunar Year of the Rat One Ounce Gold Coin. This is the seventh in a series of coins produced by the Royal Mint to celebrate the Lunar new year. Each year features a cycle of twelve animals - 2020 is the turn of the Rat.

Designed by Irish illustrator P.J. Lynch, this coin contains exactly one ounce of fine gold 24-carat. It has a face value of £100 and is usually provided in a plastic capsule - multiples may be provided in a tube.
