Description

A beautiful 2024 gold Proof Sovereign, presented in box with numbered Certificate of Authenticity.

The 2024 Proof Sovereign features the classic George & Dragon Sovereign design by Benedetto Pistrucci used on the British sovereign coin since 1817. It is the first time this design has been paired with the uncrowned effigy of His Majesty King Charles III by Martin Jennings on a proof Sovereign.

Per tradition, the 2024 Proof Sovereign is struck with 22 carat (916.7 fine) gold, and weighs 7.98 grams. Limited to 7,500 coins, and struck to the highest proof standard available from The Royal Mint.
