Description

A 2020 piedfort (double thickness) Proof gold 50p, struck to commemorate the UK's withdrawal from the EU. Struck in 22-carat gold as is traditional for the gold fifty pence range, and supplied with a Royal Mint box and certificate.

The obverse features the Jody Clark portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. The reverse features the words 'Peace, prosperity and friendship with all nations', as well as the date 31 January 2020.
