Description

An eight gram 2021 Chinese Panda gold coin with a face value of 100 Yuan.

The coin features the Temple of Heaven in Beijing on its obverse and this year the reverse features a baby panda in a tree with her mother below. The panda has always been an important animal in Chinese culture and a symbol of peace or good luck.

In 2016 the Panda coin range changed in size from the troy ounce measurement used by other international coin manufacturers to the nearest equivalent metric values. This 2021 Chinese Panda 8g coin contains slightly more gold than the 7.775g found in quarter ounce coins.
