Description

The 2026 Britannia 1/4oz is a British gold coin, minted by the Royal Mint. The weight of the coin is 7.775 grams with a fineness of 999.9 (24 carat gold), this means it contains 7.77587 grams of pure gold. The diameter of the coin is 22.05 mm. The 1/4oz Britannias have a face value of 25 Pounds and are legal tender in the UK.

The reverse of the coin features the updated design of Lady Britannia by Philip Nathan. Introduced in 2021, this design features numerous security features to ensure simple visual authentication of the coin. The obverse of the coin features the King Charles III effigy by Martin Jennings.
