Description

A 2014 one ounce gold Britannia coin, with a special horse Privy Mark along the rim of the coin, to mark the Year of the Horse. Produced in 24-carat, as was standard for the series at this point.

The 2014 1oz gold Britannia with horse privy mark is limited to a production of 10,000 coins by The Royal Mint. It was originally intended for the U.S. market only.

This was the first time that The Royal Mint produced a gold coin with a privy ((i.e., hidden)) symbol along the rim, ensuring the coin is viewed as a numismatic object.
