Gold Guineas

The Guinea is one of the most famous British coins, and was originally produced in 1663. It remained in production until 1816 when it was officially replaced by the Pound. The name refers to the Guinea coast in Africa, where much of the gold used in coin production was supplied from.

Gold Guineas are incredibly valuable thanks to their gold content, and their historical value.
