Description

This 2009 Proof 5-coin gold Sovereign Set features a Quintuple Sovereign (five-pound coin), Double Sovereign (two-pound coin), Sovereign, Half Sovereign and a Quarter Sovereign.

These proofs have been struck using specially selected blanks and highly polished dies. During striking, the coinage dies exert enormous pressure on the coin blank, with at least two separate blows (or strikes), ensuring that the impression has extra clarity. Complete with its own Certificate of Authenticity.
