Description

The 2020 30g silver Panda coin from the Chinese Mint.

The obverse of these coins always features an image of the Temple of Heaven: an Imperial Sacrificial Altar in Beijing. On the reverse side is the Panda, whose design changes each year. This year's silver Panda features the very latest design of a Panda playing with some bamboo leaves.

This 2020 silver Panda contains 30 grams of fine silver rather than 1oz (31.10g) like many other silver bullion coins. China deviated from traditional imperial weightings for their coins, making gold and silver bullion from the People's Bank a more unusual item and a popular choice for a varied investment or keepsake.
