The obverse of the 2025 Year of the Snake 1/4oz Gold Perth Mint Lunar Coin features the 1st head of King Charles III facing left, designed by Dan Thorne. The weight, purity and face value of 25 Australian dollars can be seen at the bottom of the coin.

The reverse of the 2025 Year of the Snake Perth Mint Lunar 1/4oz Gold Coin features a snake coiled among bamboo stalks, designed by Sean Rogers. It includes the inscription ‘SNAKE 2025,’ the Chinese character for snake, and the Perth Mint's P mint mark.
