Description

This 2003 gold Proof Sovereign 4-coin set features a Proof Quintuple Sovereign (five-pound coin), Double Sovereign (two-pound coin), Sovereign and Half Sovereign.

These proof coins have been struck using specially selected blanks and highly polished dies. During striking, the coinage dies exert enormous pressure on the coin blank, with at least two separate blows (or strikes), ensuring that the impression has extra clarity. Complete with its own Certificate of Authenticity.
