A 1992 Brilliant Uncirculated gold £5 coin from The Royal Mint, also known as the 'Quintuple Sovereign' or the 'Crown'. Only 1,000 of these Brilliant Uncirculated coins were struck.

This 1992 BU gold Five Sovereign coin weighs the same as the regular or proof five-pound coins, at 39.94 grams and 22-carat gold (91.67% fineness). To identify the uncirculated quality, a 'U' symbol appears of the front of this coin. This £5 gold coin comes complete with a Certificate of Authenticity, and is protected in a smart green felt box.
