A 1997 BU gold £5 coin from The Royal Mint, also known as the Crown or Quintuple Sovereign. Only 1,000 of these Brilliant Uncirculated coins were struck.
This coin weighs the same as a regular or proof five-pound coins, at 39.94 grams and 22-carat gold (91.67% fineness). To identify the uncirculated quality, a 'U' symbol appears of the front of this coin. This £5 Gold coin comes complete with a Certificate of Authenticity, and is protected in a smart green felt box.
Orders to Ireland will be sent via Colissimo (DPD/An Post) with an optional upgrade to FedEx. Parcels are dispatched from within the EU.
