Description

A 2009 gold Proof Quarter Sovereign from The Royal Mint. This version features the traditional George and the Dragon design on the obverse of the coin.

. This proof has been struck using specially selected blanks and highly polished dies. During striking, the coinage dies exert enormous pressure on the coin blank, with at least two separate blows (or strikes), ensuring that the impression has extra clarity.

Complete with its own booklet/Certificate of Authenticity. This 2009 Proof gold 1/4 Sovereign is bound in a good-looking case as shown.
