A 1996 gold Proof Sovereign coin from The Royal Mint in original box. This coin weighs the same as a regular Sovereign, at 7.98grams and 22-carat gold (91.67% fineness).
This proof has been struck using specially selected blanks and highly polished dies. During striking, the coinage dies exert enormous pressure on the coin blank, with at least two separate blows (or strikes), ensuring that the impression has extra clarity. Complete with its own booklet, and bound in a good-looking case.
Orders to Ireland will be sent via Colissimo (DPD/An Post) with an optional upgrade to FedEx. Parcels are dispatched from within the EU.
Delivery is free for orders over €500, and all parcels are fully insured until confirmed as delivered by the courier.
