Description

Issued by the British Royal Mint - the 2024 The Lion and The Eagle 1oz gold coin represents the shared values and enduring relationship between Great Britain and the United States of America.

Created in collaboration with John M. Mercanti, Chief Engraver at the US Mint from 2006 - 2010, the reverse design brings together the two national animals, the Lion of England and the Bald Eagle of America in a new bullion coin. The obverse of the 2024 Lion and Eagle 1oz gold coin features His Majesty King Charles III in his portrait by Martin Jennings, and the coin's face value of £100.

Provided in a plastic capsule. Larger quantities of 10 or more may be provided in Royal Mint tubes.
