2024 10oz Star Wars Silver Bar (Coin) Mandalorian Beskar

I'm a fan of this bar. It feels good to hold. If you're a bit of a dork, the heft of this and the Imperial logo is quite a nice thing. There's not too many productive things you can do with a silver bar except hold or bite. I haven't bitten it yet but I'm thinking about it. Late at night. Perhaps the most striking thing about this bar- admittedly it is a bit gimmicky and targeted at 1st gen Star Wars fans- is the fact that it seems to have struck in Niue; a tiny island nation east of Tonga and has the Niuean crest on the back with text in a Pasifika language (I don't know which). I was really surprised by this. Apparently the NZ mint licenses Lucasfilm (and other IP) images/ copyrights and licenses them to small nations. Does this make it better? Not really, but I as the son of 2 NZ'ers, I found it pretty groovy. A quirky piece. Are you a hard nosed investor? Buy conventional bullion. Do you have teenage kids and a lifelong ardour for Star Wars? BUY BESKAR BABY!
