The 2025 Australian Kookaburra 1kg silver coin marks the 35th anniversary of the Kookaburra series, a highly anticipated release from The Perth Mint. The reverse features a striking depiction of a kookaburra perched on a tree branch, with a privy mark paying homage to the original coin design. Radiant sunburst lines surround the bird, adding a dynamic effect to the design. The inscription ‘KOOKABURRA 35th ANNIVERSARY’ further commemorates the milestone, with the coin’s weight, purity, and year-date also included.

This coin, struck from 999.9 fine silver weighs 1 kilogram and is a substantial addition to any collection. As a part of the Kookaburra series, it is recognised globally for its exceptional quality and unique design. The reverse of the 2025 silver Kookaburra 1 kilo coin also displays The ‘P’ mintmark, ensuring authenticity and provenance.
