Description

The 2025 edition of the St George and the Dragon silver bullion coin from The Royal Mint brings a dramatic reinterpretation of a classic design to investors and collectors alike. The reverse of the coin features a modern take on George Kruger Gray’s 1935 rendering of the legendary battle, originally created for King George V’s Silver Jubilee but never approved for coinage until this release.

This 2025 George & the Dragon 1oz silver coin is the second release in the series, and is struck in 999 fine silver with a face value of £2.
