The 2023 Myths and Legends King Arthur 1oz Silver Proof Coin is a commemorative coin produced by The Royal Mint in the United Kingdom. The coin is part of a collection dedicated to British myths and legends and celebrates the iconic figure of King Arthur. It features a bespoke design by artist David Lawrence, depicting King Arthur in a pose of regal strength clasping his legendary sword, Excalibur.
The coin is made of one ounce (31.1g)of 999 fine silver and is a proof coin, meaning that it has a highly polished finish and is struck multiple times to create a sharp and detailed image. It comes in beautiful box with an informative booklet.
The obverse of the coin features the official coinage portrait of His Majesty The King, which is designed by British sculptor Martin Jennings. This makes the coin quite unique as the bullion version featured Elizabeth II. The coin is a limited edition, with only 2,500 being produced.
Orders to Ireland will be sent via Colissimo (DPD/An Post) with an optional upgrade to FedEx. Parcels are dispatched from within the EU.
