Description

A 2022 Gold Proof Half Sovereign, presented in original display box from The Royal Mint with certificate.

The 2022 Proof Half Sovereign promises to be a scarce coin for collectors, and features a rare change of design for the coin's reverse to commemorate the Platinum Jubilee of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Artist Timothy Noad's Royal Coat of Arms replaces the typical design for this year only, making the coin a must-have for Sovereign collectors.

Per tradition, the 2022 Proof Half Sovereign is struck with 22 carat (916.7 fine) gold, and weighs 3.99 grams. Limited to a mintage of just 4,310 coins, they are sure to be extremely popular with collectors looking to mark this historic year. The coin is struck to the highest Proof standard available from The Royal Mint, ensuring a beautiful finish.
